Fun Foto Policies

If the issue you have is not covered on this page, please check our FAQ page, or Contact Us.

Copyrighted Material - We take copyrights seriously, and we will not print an image without the express permission of the copyright holder. For more information on this, check out our sending invitation photos page

Printing Cut-off - Once you approve a final proof and give us a final count on the number of prints you want, you have placed your order. If you call or email us and want to change your order, chances are that the printing process has already begun, and we cannot then change your order. This means that you will have to accept the order that you placed or look at paying for the correction. See the redo policies (not "reprint", "redo" policies) below.

This is why it is vital to take the time to make your choice and make sure you do not place your final confirming order if you are not yet able to firmly choose between one or more options. Because you are ordering a custom product, you must be willing to take responsibility for your decisions on the design. Once you approve a proof and have ordered the final number, we have been authorized to print the order and we will proceed.

Note that you can make changes after requesting a hard copy proof. This is because you have not finalized your order. Again, your order is finalized once you have given us confirmation that you have accepted a proof and would like a certain number printed.

Reprint Policies - We will only reprint invitations, inserts, etc. if the items are incorrectly printed. This means that the prints you recieved are actually different from what you ordered and proofed. This virtually never happens, so if you are seeking a reprint, you probably are actually seeking a redo. In that case, scroll down for those policies. Otherwise, continue with this section.

The proofing process is not only to ensure that you get what you want, but also to document what you want and give you a chance to change your invitations before you commit to how they look. Once you accept a proof and order your invitations, you agree to pay for and receive them. In other words, we will only reprint invitations in order to make them match the proof. That is our definition of a reprint, it is not a redo.

This means that we will not redo a print job (for free), just because a customer decided they wanted a change to the invitation after the proof has been accepted and a final order has been made.

Reprints are done as soon as we are made aware of them. We will get them done before any other jobs. Let us know of the problem as soon as possible so we can rush your reprint. In the end, we are only liable for the cost of the prints, and will refund the cost if it can be proven that we did not print what was proofed.

Redo Policies - Now, if a substantial mistake or a change of mind has been made by the customer which renders the invitation useless, then we usually give a generous discounted rate on the redo. Again, this situation is not our fault, as documented by the proofing process, so we will not reprint them for free, but will assist you in redoing them at a discounted rate.

The easiest way to tell whether your situation qualifies as a redo or a reprint, look at the proof you approved. If you now want something different, then it is redo. The most common examples are needed changes in the wording, for example the reception has been changed to 6 p.m., and the proof you approved had it at 7 p.m.

We negotiate at that time the rates on the redo, and it is based on the number you order and how quickly you need it by.

We cannot guarantee that a redo will be done in time for a reception. Because the changes and/or mistakes are not our fault, the redo is basically a new order. We will try our hardest to accomodate you, but again, because it is a new order, the times and rates are not guaranteed until the time that we accept that redo order.

Returns - Because this is a custom product, we do not accept returns. We do, however, guarantee our work, and we will reprint and replace any defective items that meet our Reprint Policies above.

In this business we are aware that plans change, and that weddings can be cancelled. We are sorry if this happens to you, but we cannot refund your money unless your invitations do not match your proofs and there is no time for a reprint. If this happens to you, ask us about the redo rates for your next attempt down the isle.
